Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sokko website and related pages (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Operator
The Site is operated by Sokko (“we,” “us,” “our”). Sokko is not yet a registered legal entity. Until registration, any permissions, licenses, or authorizations must be granted explicitly and in writing by Bill Odiwuor Kawaka.
2. Scope of the Site
The Site currently functions as a landing page and directory of links related to Sokko’s film, animation, and creative projects. No purchases, memberships, or user accounts are offered at this time.
3. Age and Content Notice
The Site is intended for a general audience. Some content may be mature in nature. Where applicable, explicit content will be clearly labeled and published during late-night hours. By using the Site, you confirm that you are legally permitted to view such material in your jurisdiction.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including but not limited to text, images, video, audio, branding, logos, and design — is owned by Sokko or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
- You may share links to the Site freely.
- You may not download, reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit Site content without prior written permission.
- You may not use the Sokko name, logo, or branding without authorization.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to engage in any activity that interferes with or harms the Site or Sokko, including but not limited to:
- Scraping, crawling, or harvesting data without permission
- Hacking, probing, or attempting to bypass security measures
- Impersonation or misrepresentation
- Use of bots, automation, or unauthorized scripts
- Any illegal, abusive, or malicious activity
Sokko reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies for violations, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6. Future Submissions (Sokko Palette)
In the future, the Site may allow voluntary submissions of artwork or creative materials (e.g., the “Sokko Palette”). Any such submissions will be governed by additional terms presented at the time of submission.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to or embed third-party platforms (such as YouTube, Discord, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, or X). Sokko does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Access third-party services at your own risk.
8. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Sokko does not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sokko shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site.
10. Termination
Sokko reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Site at any time, without notice, for any reason.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Wyoming or the State of New Jersey, determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the nature of the dispute.
12. Privacy
Use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to These Terms
Sokko may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
